많은 분들의 기도와 사랑과 응원속에 2026 아마존 선교팀이 오늘 새벽 1시 비행기로 샌프란시스코 공항에서 은혜 가운데 출발했습니다!
Hello, beloved Saenuri brothers and sisters!
I am PD "Maybe John" (Get it? Ama-zon...), who will be capturing the mission field and sharing it with you during this 2026 Amazon short-term mission. Covered in the prayers, love, and support of so many, our 2026 Amazon Mission Team gracefully departed from SFO on a 1 AM flight early today!
아래, 주일 저녁 7시반에 교회에서 모여서 샌프란시스코 공항에 도착하는 순간까지의 모습을 전해드립니다!
Below is a look at our journey, from gathering at church at 7:30 PM on Sunday evening to the moment we arrived at SFO!

...and headed to San Francisco Airport after a closing prayer from Pastor Raymond.
오늘따라 인구대폭발인 샌프란시스코 공항.. 불평하지 않습니다! 왜냐면 이것이 저희의 기도 제목이었거든요! (주일 설교를 기억하시죠 다들?)
The airport was PACKED today but we ain't no complaining! no room for that!
성민 총무님(75% J) 의 철두철미한 짐 정리 시스템을 따라 매우 신속하게 짐 체크인까지 모두 마치고 보안검색대 앞에 모이는 선교팀. 저희는 이제 7시간 15분간의 비행 후 파나마를 경유하여 마나우스로 향합니다!
Following the meticulous luggage organization system of our very own coordinator Sungmin (who is a 75% 'J' on the MBTI), we swiftly finished checking in all our bags and gathered in front of security. We are now heading to Manaus via a layover in Panama, after a 7-hour and 15-minute flight!
많은 분들의 따뜻한 사랑과 무엇보다 큰 힘이 되는 기도를 품고 브라질로 향합니다.
팀원 모두가 이곳에 모인 계기는 제각각 다를지라도, 준비했던 지난 한 달 반의 시간은 동일하신 성령님의 일하심을 목도하는 여정이었습니다. 넘치는 감사와 은혜를 안고 기쁜 마음으로 다녀오겠습니다.
하나님께서 보내시는 그 땅에서 진정과 신령으로 예배드리고 올 수 있는 시간이 될 수 있도록, 성령의 임재하심이 있는 예배와 모든 여정 가운데에 하나님의 영광만 나타나시기를, 또한 팀원들의 영육간 강건함을 위해 함께 기도해주시기를 부탁드립니다!

We head to Brazil carrying the warm love and, most importantly, the incredibly empowering prayers of so many. Even though each team member's reason for joining might be different, the past month and a half of preparation has been a journey of witnessing the same Holy Spirit at work among us. We will go with joy, overflowing with gratitude and grace. Please pray with us that our time in the land God is sending us to will be one of worshiping in spirit and in truth. Please join us in praying that the Holy Spirit's presence will be in our worship, that only God's glory will be revealed throughout the entire journey, and that God will provide for the physical and spiritual strength of our team members..
We will greet you again once we arrive in Panama and Manaus. Até breve!
