Happy Sunday! 

말라위에서 주일을 맞이 합니다. 

Airwing 교회의 주일예배 사진으로 오늘의 일지를 시작합니다.

Starting today's journal with photos from the Sunday worship service at Airwing Church.

계속해서 말라위에서 비전센터를 위해 함께 기도하고 있습니다. 

We continue to pray together for the Vision Center here in Malawi.

먼저, 새누리 주일예배를 말라위에서 드립니다. 

오늘 예배에서는 요한계시록 7장 9절을 본문으로, "하나님 나라를 미리 보는 사람들"이라는 제목의 말씀이 선포되었습니다.목사님은 하나님이 모든 민족을 사랑하시고 평범한 이들을 통해 일하신다는 소망의 메시지를 전하셨습니다. 예수님이 계시고 복음이 전파되며 영혼이 살아나는 곳이 바로 하나님 나라 구역이며, 그렇기에 우리가 서 있는 이곳에서 이미 하나님 나라를 맛보며 살아가고 있다는 깊은 도전을 주셨습니다.

First, we gathered for Saenuri Church's Sunday worship service right here in Malawi.The message today was based on Revelation 7:9, under the theme 'People Who Glimpse the Kingdom of God.' The pastor brought us a hopeful message: God loves every nation and uses ordinary individuals for His work. He challenged us deeply by stating that God's Kingdom is found wherever Jesus dwells, where the Gospel is preached, and where weary souls come alive. Because of this, we are already tasting the reality of Heaven in the very place we stand today.

새누리 예배 후에는 저희가 머물고 있는 Airwing Center 교회에서 현지 성도님들과 함께 주일예배를 드렸습니다. 

감사하게도 어제 노방전도를 통해 초대한 많은 분이 예배당을 찾아주셨습니다. 평소에 예배를 드리던 본당이 가득 차 모든 인원을 수용할 수 없을 정도였습니다.

결국, 우리는 탁 트인 야외 앞뜰로 자리를 옮겨 은혜로운 예배를 드리게 되었습니다.

Following the Saenuri worship service, we held another Sunday service with the local believers at the Airwing Center Church, where we are currently staying.Praise God, many of the people we had invited through yesterday's street evangelism came to the church. The regular sanctuary was packed so tightly that it could not accommodate everyone. Ultimately, we moved the service out to the open front courtyard, where we shared a deeply moving and grace-filled time of worship together.

유스합창단의 찬양에 모든 성도들의 예배를 위한 기도로 시작합니다.

The service began with a beautiful praise from the Youth Choir, opening the hearts of all congregants to pray together for the worship.

새가족 환영의 시간이 있었습니다. 이곳 Airwing 교회에서는 신나는 찬양과 함꼐 모든 성도가 나와 새가족들과 악수를 나누며 환영합니다.

We then had a time to welcome the newcomers. Here at Airwing Church, the entire congregation comes forward with joyful praise to shake hands and welcome each new member

어머니 합창단의 찬양과 스킷이 있었습니다. 말라위 성도분들이 스킷하는것은 올해 처음봤는데요. 새누리 단기팀의 영향력이 아니였을까요??

Next up was a time of praise and a wonderful skit by the Mothers' Choir. It was my very first time seeing the Malawian congregants do a skit drama this year. 

I couldn't help but think that this is a beautiful reflection of the impact made by our Saenuri short-term team.

The offering prayer was led by Sister Jennifer.

다음 예배순서는 단기선교팀의 "How he loves us" 스킷이였습니다.

Next, the short-term mission team performed a skit to the song 'How He Loves Us.

저희의 스킷을 동영상으로 촬영하시는 성도님들의 모습을 보았습니다. 영상을 두고두고 보시며 우리를 향한 예수님의 사랑과 그 마음을 늘 기억해주시기를 소망합니다.

I noticed the congregants filming our skit. I hope they keep watching it and always remember Jesus' love for us.

오늘 설교는 문 목사님이 전해주셨습니다. 누가복음 15장의 탕자 이야기를 본문으로 죄가 우리에게 미치는 영향에 대해 말씀하셨습니다. 

문 목사님은 성령님이 하나님께 돌아가라고 말씀하실 때 회개해야 한다고 강조하셨습니다. 또한, 죄를 짓고 돌아오는 자식을 거절하지 않으실 뿐만 아니라, 오히려 멀리서부터 달려와 맞아주시는 분이 바로 우리 하나님 아버지라는 메시지를 전해주셨습니다.

Pastor Moon delivered today's sermon. Based on the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15, he spoke about how sin affects us. He emphasized that we must repent when the Holy Spirit tells us to return to God. He shared the message that our Father God never rejects a sinning child who comes back, but instead runs out to welcome them.

목사님의 설교를 직접 영상으로 담으며 말씀에 집중하는 한 아이를 발견했습니다. 말씀을 사모하는 그 모습이 참 아름답고 사랑스러웠습니다.

I noticed a child filming the sermon while completely immersed in the message. Seeing that hunger for the Word was truly beautiful. 

예배의 마지막 순서로 예수님을 구주로 영접하는 기도를 드렸습니다. 이때 가슴에 손을 얹고 간절히 기도하는 성도들의 모습에 마음이 울컥했습니다.

For the closing prayer, we led a prayer of acceptance for Jesus as Savior. My heart overflowed with emotion watching them pray with their hands on their chests.

이곳 말라위는 식량난으로 굶주리는 분들이 많습니다. 그래서 성도님들과 동네분들께 옥수수 한 포대씩을 나누어 드렸습니다. 

이 옥수수를 갈아 죽을 만들어 드시면 한 달 동안 식사를 해결할 수 있다고 합니다. 

옥수수를 전달하며, 육의 양식은 시간이 지나면 사라지지만 영원히 없어지지 않는 영의 양식을 붙들어야 한다는 메시지를 함께 전했습니다. 

Many people here in Malawi are suffering from severe food shortages. To help, we distributed a bag of corn to each church member and local resident. 

We learned that grinding just one bag into porridge can provide meals for an entire month. 

As we handed out the corn, we reminded them that while physical food fades away, we must hold fast to the spiritual food that lasts forever.

옥수수를 나눠드리기 전에 Jesus 스킷을 보여드렸습니다. 

Before handing out the corn, we showed them the 'Jesus' skit.

옥수수 배부를 기다리는 분들께 우리 팀원들은 복음 팔찌를 나누며 복음을 전했습니다. 

감사하게도 많은 분이 예수님을 영접했고, 자신들의 기도 제목을 나누어 주어 함께 기도하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 

While people were waiting for the corn, our team members shared the Gospel using gospel bracelets. 

Many accepted Jesus and shared their prayer requests, so we prayed together.

VBS 첫날부터 우리 팀을 성심껏 도와준 현지 스태프분들에게 감사의 마음을 전했습니다. 

We expressed our gratitude to the local staff who have been faithfully helping our team since the very first day of VBS.

사역은 계속됩니다 ㅎㅎ 벤치에 니스칠을 하며 마무리 작업을 하였습니다.

The ministry continues! We did the finishing touches by varnishing the benches.

페인트작업도 계속됩니다.. 완성이 코앞에 있으니 조금만 더 기다려 주세요! 

The painting continues as well. We are almost finished, so please hang in there a little longer!

센터안에서는 요리가 한창인데요~ 오늘은 아주 특별한 이벤트가 있었습니다.

Cooking is in full swing inside the center. Today, there was a very special event.

짜잔! 허선교사님의 얼리 고희연을 열어드렸습니다. 

Ta-da! We threw an early 70th birthday celebration for Missionary Huh.

허선교사님을 위해 축복기도를 해드렸습니다.

We offered a prayer of blessing for Missionary Huh.

도와주신 현지목사님들(워싱턴, 마이크), 스텝분들 (올레모, 이노센트, 윌리엄)과 함께 허선교사님의 생신을 축하드리며 식탁교제를 나누었습니다. 

We celebrated Missionary Huh's birthday and enjoyed a time of fellowship over a meal with the local pastors (Washington and Mike) and staff members (Ulemu, Innocent, and William) who have been helping us.

한식도 잘드시네요~ 역쉬 우리 명희 자매님의 요리는 모든민족이 반하게 하는 맛인가 봅니다. 

They really enjoy Korean food! I guess Sister Myunghui’s cooking is a flavor that captivates every nation.

말라위의 하늘은 유독 이쁘다고 생각이 드는데요, 아름다운 석양으로 오늘의 일지를 마무리 합니다.

I always think the sky in Malawi is uniquely beautiful. Today, I wrap up this journal with a view of the gorgeous sunset.

어제와 오늘 노방전도를 나가면서, 이곳 말라위에는 우리의 손을 붙잡고 기도를 요청하시는 분들이 계시다는 걸 알게 되었습니다.기도의 용사이신 새누리 성도 여러분, 마음이 갈급한 이곳 말라위 영혼들을 위해 함께 오셔서 손을 잡고 기도해 주시기를 소망합니다.
