Moni (Hello)! 치체와로 인사드립니다. 

VBS 첫날, 너무 행복해 보이는 아이들의 사진으로 일지를 시작합니다! 아이들의 모습을 보며 새누리 성도님들도 주님안에서 행복한 하루가 되길 소망합니다.

Airwing Church는 매주 수요일 6시에 새벽 기도예배가 있습니다. 말라위는 보수적이여서 남자와 여자가 분리 되서 앉아야 합니다. 

이른시간부터 예배를 사모하는 자매님들이 아기를 안고 업고 오시는 모습이 감명 깊었습니다.

오늘은 특별히 진영자매님께서 하나님 안에서 자매님과 가정이 어떻게 변화되었는지 간증을 나눠주셨습니다.

Airwing Church holds its early morning prayer service every Wednesday at 6:00 AM. Since Malawi is quite traditional, men and women sit separately during worship.It was deeply moving to see the sisters arriving so early, carrying their babies in their arms and on their backs, driven by a pure longing to worship.Today, Sister Jinyoung specially shared her testimony, opening up about how she and her family have been transformed in the Lord.

기도예배 후 바로 이어진 새누리 비전 기도회! ㅎㅎ 

Right after the morning prayer service, we went straight into the Saenuri Vision Prayer Meeting! Haha.

비전센터를 위해 간절히 기도하는 Youth 의 Jonah입니다.

This is Jonah from the Youth group, praying with all his heart for the Vision Center.

그리고 또 이어진 우리의 아침예배. 문목사님께서 고린도전서 6:19절의 말씀을 통해 하나님은 이미 길을 만드셨고 우리는 그저 그 길을 따라가며 

오늘 만나게 될 영혼마다 하나님의 돌파의 역사, 파라츠의 역사를 기대하자고 말씀해 주셨습니다.

And right after that, we moved into our morning devotion. Pastor Moon shared a message from 1 Corinthians 6:19, reminding us that God has already paved the way. He encouraged us to simply follow that path and expect God's breakthrough—the power of Paratz—in every single soul we meet today.

매끼마다 명희 자매님을 도와 식사를 준비하는 그룹이 바뀌는데요. 오늘 아침 식사 당번들입니다.

The group helping Sister Myunghee prepare our meals changes every day. Here is this morning's kitchen crew!

아침 식사 후, 소그룹 나눔이 있었습니다. 유스부터 시니어 자매님들이 함께 한자리에서 나눔을 할 수 있는것이 선교를 오면 누릴 수 있는 특권인것 같습니다.

After breakfast, we had our small group sharing time. Being able to sit together in one place and share our hearts from the youth to the senior sisters is truly a special privilege that we get to enjoy only on a mission trip.

기침과 장시간 비행으로 인한 허리통증, 다리 저림 등등 몸이 불편한 지체들을 위해 기도하는 시간을 있었습니다. 

We held a special time of prayer for our team members who are physically struggling, including those dealing with coughs, back pain from the long flight, and leg numbness.

방과 후 2시에 있을 VBS 첫날을 위해 얼른 교회안을 Magnified Theme 으로 꾸몄습니다.

To get ready for the very first day of VBS starting at 2:00 PM right after school, we quickly decorated the inside of the church with the Magnified theme.

요래됐숨당~! 아이들이 좋아할 모습을 생각하니 만날 시간이 기대가 됩니다.

And after! Thinking about how much the kids will love it makes us so excited to finally see them.

VBS 시작 전 우리의 에너지를 충전시켜 줄 점심시간! 점심당번들입니다~

It is lunchtime to recharge our energy before VBS starts! Here is our lunch crew!

기도로 VBS를 시작합니다.

We begin VBS with prayer.

말라위 아이들은 시계가 없습니다. 시간을 몰라서 인지, 우리가 너무 보고싶어서인지 시작시간 훨~~씬 전부터 와서 교회문이 열리기를 기다립니다. 

They do not have clocks here but they arrived way ahead of time anyway. Maybe they do not know the hour or maybe they just missed us a lot. 

They were all outside waiting for those church doors to finally open!

교회예배당에 입장 전 스티커와 이름표를 받습니다.

Before stepping into the chapel, they receive their stickers and name tags.

신이나서 들어오는 아이들을 보니 너무 반갑습니다.

It is so awesome to see them bursting through the doors with so much excitement!

기도로 VBS DAY 1을 시작합니다! 기도하는 아이들 모습이 너무 예쁘지 않으세요?

We start VBS Day 1 with prayer! Aren't these praying children so beautiful?

Sermon Time!

문목사님께서 아이들에게 하나님은 세상 모든 것을 만드신 분이고, 우리도 만드신 창조주이심을 알려주셨습니다. 

그 누구도 실수로 만들어 지지 않았기에 우리의 가치는 다른데서 오는 것이 아니라 오직 하나님에게로 부터 오는 것이라고 메세지를 전달해 주셨습니다.

Pastor Moon shared with the kids that God created everything in the world including each and every one of us. He told them that nobody is a mistake and our true value does not come from the world because it comes only from God.

Craft Time!

거울을 만들기를 통해  자신을 바라보며 하나님이 나를 masterpiece로 만드셨고 나를 사랑하신다는 메세지를 주었습니다.

Through a fun mirror-making activity, the kids got to look at themselves and learn that God made them as a masterpiece and loves them deeply.

거울을 처음 보는 아이들이 많이 있습니다. 한참동안 자신을 바라보는 모습을 잊을 수가 없습니다. 

It was a truly unforgettable moment. Many of these kids are seeing a mirror for the very first time in their lives, 

and they just stood there staring at their own reflections for the longest time.

새누리에도 거울을 처음보는 자매님이 계신것 같습니다.

It looks like there is a sister at Saenuri Church who is also seeing a mirror for the very first time!

이 아이는 시키지도 않았는데 craft 후에 마지막까지 남아서 쓰레기를 주웠습니다. 굿걸<3

Without anyone even asking, this sweet girl stayed behind until the very end to pick up trash after the craft session. 

말라위 하면 신발더미 사진이 빠질 수 없죠! ㅎㅎ 올해도 열심히 찾아봅니다. 

You can't talk about Malawi without a photo of the shoe pile! Haha. We are hunting hard for the perfect shot again this year.

신기하게도 비슷한것 같지만 결국 다 자기 신을 찾아가는 놀라운 아이들!

It is so wild because they all look exactly the same, but somehow these amazing kids always find their own shoes in the end!
