 The Discipleship class was a blessing this past year as I was able to draw closer to God and my brothers and sisters in Christ as we learned about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, broke bread together, and served together. I learned and reinforced previous knowledge about the validity of the Bible and learned a lot about the history and culture of the world in which Jesus, the Son of God, entered into creation to demonstrate His love. I am closer to parts of the church body with which I would not have otherwise grown in relationship, and I have prayed more than ever before with the church body. I have a renewed appreciation for prayer and memory verses and am excited to use them more in the future during spiritual battle. The Discipleship class helped me to recognize God in parts of my life that I might have taken for granted and now have a better appreciation for God’s sovereign hand in all things. God is good!
